Flight to New York

vlog005

It was a 14 hours flight, which made it the longest time I spent on air. The aeroplane to NYC was much better than the last. It was newer. Which confirms that most of the airlines send their oldest planes to African countries. There was also access to WiFi on the plane, which was free for 1 hour and to continue using the WiFi a fee of 10$ had to be paid

Throughout the flight, I was sick and unable to eat. I was afraid that I would throw up which I didn’t. I spent most of my time on-air watching movies and listening to music. For the most part of the flight, it was dark. We experienced a bit of turbulence.

Two hours prior to landing. The time zone changed, the sun was rising. I got a morning view of the ocean from above. I got a glimpse of the city. I was expecting to see the Statue of Liberty from up there ( which I didn’t).

We were given a USA customs form to fill on the plane prior to stating the purpose of our visit which was to be submitted at the point of entry. The landing of the Plane was scarier than the last, I could feel my heart sink. We landed at 8:10 am NYC time.
