My First Flight

The take-off was definitely uneasy. I began to feel butterflies in my stomach which made me slightly sick. I felt much better once the plane was finally stable on air. The sight was amazing.

At that moment, I couldn’t imagine anything better than being over 40,000 feet above the ground. I had the window seat so I was able to see everything.

The most intriguing part of flying by air is the shifting between different time zones. When we took off from Lagos it was afternoon and sunny after about 2 hours on air, it became dark. We had entered a different time zone.

The meal was good, I made sure I tried almost everything I was offered (being the foodie that I am). The service was equally great. The air host and air hostesses were very pleasant.

The aeroplane was beautiful even though adjusting the seats were quite hard and also tapping the screen of the seat-size Tv required a bit of force. I was frightened at first about using the bathroom of an aeroplane. For me, it was quite scary to imagine using the bathroom while moving at a fast-paced on air but it wasn’t bad at all. As a matter of fact, it was very comfortable.

We landed in Doha(my first stopover) at 10:32 pm Doha time.
