Today, the public impeachment hearing against U.S President is underway and a lot has happened prior to this with many private and public interviews with people knowledgeable about the case.
President Donald Trump is mainly facing impeachment charges over abuse of his position, specifically for ordering an investigation into Hunter Biden and Joe Biden his father, his contender in a phone call requesting the Ukranian president to investigate the former Vice President and 2020 political candidate. Accusations the President has on several occasions referred to as a witch hunt.
The first witnesses before the House Intelligence Committee will be Bill Taylor and George Kent, the top U.S diplomat for Ukraine and the deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs respectively.
