Students of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) have armed themselves with bows and arrows and other such materials from the sports complex, and gasoline bombs amidst the suspension of classes due to the Hong Kong’s police claim that the institution is used as a bomb-making factory.
As a result, a Danish Technical University has ordered all 12 of its students attending courses in Hong Kong to return to Denmark in “orderly fashion” after some students were forced to move from their dormitories which were set on fire.
In addition, authorities have used a police boat to evacuate mainland Chinese students from the University. Protesters at the CUHK have started filming themselves practising with the bows and arrows. Many have criticized the move as an attack on higher education.
