Deji Adeyanju, one of the protesters at the #FreeSowore Movement has disclosed that from the recent fracas at the Department of State Services, it is obvious that this administration is not willing to release Omoyele Sowore despite the ruling in favour of his release.
He further shared how he allegedly received bribe at gunpoint to disperse and not protest for the release of Sowore but claimed that he had to since there were speculations that the reason for his detention was because no one had come to claim him at the DSS.
As for the received bribe, Adeyanju disclosed that if the funds were not collected, the sums will be used to fund Sowore’s trial and handed over to Femi Falana, the accused’s legal counsel.
