Indigenous inhabitants of Nigeria’s Federal Capital territory Abuja have taken their grouse to the Senate accusing the Federal Government of discrimination against Abuja Natives.
They say in the last twenty years they have been unable to participate in Government as they have no representation in the Federal Executive Council as mandated by the Constitution which requires every state to have a representative as a Minister.
The group took their grievances to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions which conducted a public hearing in Abuja.
