In a story published in the ‘’Journal BMJ Case Reports,’’ an Australian male ex-convict stuck a ballon of cannabis up into his nostrils before going to prison and forgot about it for 18years.
While in prison all through his conviction and out of prison, he felt he had accidentally swallowed the stash of cannabis so he couldn’t be bordered about it, however, now 48 years old he started suffering from continuous intense headaches, multiple sinus infections, and nose bleed, which caused him to frequent the hospital.
On taking a CT scan, the medical experts found a rhinolith in his nasal cavity. Rhinoliths are stones that are found deep inside the nasal cavity which cause difficulty in breathing and also other nasal problems, it could occur via bone fragment or dislodged teeth, e. t. c . or on rare cases could be environmental objects like air or food particles snuffed in through the nostrils in which on the case of this Australian was more than a particle.
After the removal of the rhinolith, the doctors and the man realized that it was nothing close to what they thought was buried inside the nostrils, which joggled the patient’s memory back to when his 30-year-old self, put in a ballon wrap of weed deep inside his nostrils to bypass security search.
This is a case that has never been seen or heard of in the medical line the doctors claimed. You think you have seen and heard it all but with this strange story, I guess not.
