Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare after spending 95 days in custody have finally met bail conditions according to Senior Advocate and Human Rights Activist, Femi Falana.
The two are expected to be freed sometime today. He reportedly made this declaration while making a request for the case to be adjourned which was duly opposed by the prosecuting counsel citing that the charges were filed and served as far back as September 20 and therefore had enough time to prepare a defence.
Omoyele Sowore is currently facing trial on charges bordering on treasonable felony punishable with life imprisonment for trying to allegedly overthrow a democratically elected government in a protest tagged #revolutionnow
