The Federal Government says it will leverage the expertise and experience of Nigerian Health Professionals living in the diaspora.
The Minister of Health Dr Osagie Ehanire during a session with members of the House Committee on Health says health professionals and medical doctors in the diaspora are already being engaged by the ministry to help solve the problem of a lack of capacity in various teaching hospitals nationwide.
Dr Ehanire says the federal government is already resolving issues relating to a lack of modern medical equipment expected to be used by the diaspora health professionals and assures government will continue to support them to effectively add value to Nigeria’s health sector.
