buck kills hunter who tried to kill him

Thomas Alexander a hunter from Northern Arkansas shot a buck in the wild then he decided to go over and carry his expected lifeless deer, but to his utmost surprise, the deer was still alive.

The deer got up and attacked its hunter, Alexander. Alexander was able to call out to his wife after the struggle with the animal and was rushed to the Hospital; The Baxter Regional Medical Center.

Alex was pronounced dead, after a while in the hospital. According to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the attack happened around 6:30 pm on Tuesday, the 22nd of October 2019 in Marion County.

Though, Arkansas’s Authorities are not yet certain of what role the deer played in the death of Alexander but, according to body examination results from the hospital, Alexander had several puncture wounds on him. This clearly shows that the deer really did put up a fight with alexander.

Alexander’s unfortunate experience is a clear depiction of preys taking over its territory and protecting itself from every lurking predator. The Deer probably said to itself,’’ there is no way I’m dying in the hands of this predator, in own my home I’m taking you down’’.

Now hunters are implored to wait at least 30 minutes after they shoot a deer or any other animal before they reach over and get the animal.

According to Keith Stephens, this kind of issue had not happened before, though in 2016 a deer gored a hunter in Ashley county, in south Arkansas.
