The Federal Government says it is set to launch a National cooperative housing scheme.
The Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola made this known in Abuja while unveiling a new, alternative and pre-fabricated building technology by Indigenous Nigerian Company Karmond Technologies.
Mr Fashola says the government will leverage on the cooperative model because there is evidence of its success in other areas like farming and livelihoods
He adds that the Federal government is confident there is a huge and unrealized potential in the housing sector.
