Namibia’s ruling party, the Swapo party has appealed to voters not to abandon them in their point of need. The appeal was made while addressing their followers at Outapi over the weekend.
The Secretary-General Sophia Shaningwa appealed to Namibians to help support the Swapo party in the coming elections scheduled for November 27, according to her, Namibia also got her fair share of the challenges occurring globally. Read her statement below:
“When things are tough like this, it is not time to start pointing fingers or change the leadership or the political party that you have been supporting. However, it is time to work together and pull all our resources together in one direction and towards improving our economy and hence our standard of living,” she said.
She also promised that the government will work tirelessly to improve the living standards of the citizens as they are fully aware of the pressing issues in the country.
