President Muhammadu Buhari has presented the two thousand and twenty budget to a joint session of the National assembly.
The effort which was to make good his promise to return the nation’s yearly budget to a January-December Budget cycle saw President Buhari present an appropriation bill of about ten point three trillion Naira.
The breakdown of the budget saw statutory transfers gulp five hundred and fifty-six point seven billion Naira with the budget estimate of the National Assembly totalling one hundred and twenty-five billion Naira.
Non-debt recurrent expenditure took a whooping sum of about three point six trillion Naira covering both personnel and pension costs.
