Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari will today present an appropriation bill of ₦10.729 trillion, the 2020 Budget before the National Assembly.
The FEC – Federal Executive Committee yesterday cautioned the changes that were made to the MTEF-SP – the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper but was optimistic about the upward review on oil to $57 per barrel.
The extra $2 is expected to cater to security and other critical areas in the economy. The budget is due for approval by October 8 if it will revert to the Federal Government budget cycle of January – December.
