Nigeria has recently made it to the World’s Bank list of Top-20 Improvers in its list for Ease of Doing Business Report. The full list is expected to be released on the 24th of October according to Business Insider.
The World Bank disclosed that Nigeria was able to improve significantly due to launching an electronic platform that links the Corporate Affairs Commission to Relevant Tax Authorities. It also attributes reforms carried out in the starting a business, registering property and other similar sectors among the key indicators which influenced the report.
Nigeria has improved from a score of 146 out of a possible 190 up 24 spots and is now at 122. Other African Countries which made it to the top of the list include Kenya, Togo, Zimbabwe and Djibouti.
