Boris Johnson canvasses for free trade with EU Post-Brexit; pushes for CETA

U.K Prime Minister, Boris Johnson will present his final plan to the E.U. According to the P.M, if Brussels doesn’t align with it, the U.K will leave the bloc regardless on October 31.

The deal which Boris Johnson describes as a fair and reasonable compromise which introduces a ‘two border for four years’ approach to replace the current open border with Ireland.

The deal also entails Northern Ireland having a special relationship with Europe until 2025 with customs checks between the North and the Republic of Ireland.

The new proposal is expected to face opposition from EU leaders which leaves a lot of uncertainty as to how the U.K will leave the EU and if the October 31 date will be upheld
