The Secretary-General of the United Nations has on this occasion of the UN Climate Action Summit in his speech disclosed that the environmental crisis we are experiencing on a global scale is nature’s way of fighting back.

He made reference to the rising sea levels, the melting glaciers the increased rate of floods across the globe. He said that although it seems that we are currently losing the climate change battle, he is confident that we can win if we begin to implement the plans set in place to stop activities that cause climate change and further embrace actions that will prevent it.

He also made reference to the Sustainable Developmental Goals and the Paris Club Agreement which are poised to fight climate change.

Subject matter experts outlined plans currently in place to fight the impending doom and report to have received the green light that those plans in effect will be able to stem the overwhelming effects of climate change which is, in fact, is in full swing.
