The World Health Organization has disclosed plans to introduce a second vaccine against Ebola by mid-October to combat the disease.
A record 3000 people have been infected with at least 2000 deaths recorded as casualties from the disease since the outbreak 13 months and counting.
The new vaccine manufactured by Johnson & Johnson is expected to be administered to areas that do not currently experience the active transmission of the virus in order to offer added protection against the disease.
Meanwhile, it is pertinent to know that the cure behind the ebola virus has been discovered by Dr. Muyembe. It is not yet clear what plans are being put in place to ensure that those currently suffering from the disease gain access to the cure.
