The Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Samba boys of Brazil are set to face each other in an international friendly later this year after Brazil officially confirmed the date of the match in an official statement on their website.
The game is slated for the 13th of October, three days after the match between the Samba Boys and Nigeria’s West African neighbours and 2019 AFCON finalists, Senegal.
Nigeria and Brazil met in 2003 when the Samba boys ran away with a comfortable three nil win at the opening of the Abuja stadium.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria were recently held to a 2-2 draw by Ukraine in an international friendly which is their first match since coming third at the 2019 AFCON hosted by Egypt.
