The Minister of Communications has given the Nigeria Communications Commission NCC a one-week deadline to block all unregistered SIM cards nationwide.
Dr Ibrahim Pantami while giving this directive in Abuja says with the deadline which will expire on September the twenty-fifth also includes incomplete SIM card registrations.
He says the supervision of the NCC on issues relating to SIM card registration will help reduce the level of crime nationwide and confirms up to seventy-four per cent success rate has already been achieved.
