Seun Onigbinde, the recent appointee for the role of the Technical Adviser to the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning has resigned.
He is a statement on his medium profile disclosed the information to the general public after a spinoff from his tweet chat with Pius Adesanmi was brought out of the woodworks to the forefront.
He resigned to clear the air as he claimed the media have created a ‘complex narrative’ which he explained would create an atmosphere of mistrust.
A former tweet by Oluseun Onigbinde in reply to Pius Adesanmi whee he clearly opined that he wouldn’t leave BudgIT for any political appointment until he is certain the people at the top get the art of governance was used to hold him accountable since the government hasn’t changed since he made the statement since April 2018.
Many have upon his resignation began to reflect that perhaps they have lost a good opportunity for him to serve due to social media bullying and trolls while others have commended his resignation move.
Onigbinde however committed to continuing to support the federal government while helping to build awareness within his capacity as the Director of BudgIT. Click to read his full statement
