Efforts to commence community policing in order to tackle increasing insecurity nationwide reaches advanced stage as Committee to study recommendations and implementation of strategies on strengthening internal security framework and community policing in Nigeria submits a report.
The committee which was inaugurated on May the seventh and given a timeframe of two months to appraise report initially postulated by participants of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Study NIPSS on community Policing submitted its recommendations to the Secretary to the Federal Government Boss Mustapha in Abuja
The SGF while commending their efforts says the federal government will study the recommendations and ensure they are effectively implemented so as to achieve government’s vision of a safe and secure Nigeria for all.
