A member of the Kaduna state House of Assembly Hon. Ibrahim Dabo was kidnapped by gunmen around kwanan Farakwai in the outskirts of the state capital
Confirming the incident, the Kaduna police Image maker DSP Yakubu Sabo said the lawmaker representing Zaria constituncy in the state House of Assembly was abducted in Igabi LGA on his way to Zaria.
According to the statement Hon. Ibrahim was kidnapped this afternoon after the police found his car parked by the road side with his ID card on the sit.
The police said efforts is ongoing to ensure rescue of the lawmaker
The unfortunate is Incident is coming barely five days after three students of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, were kidnapped along Kaduna-Abuja highway.
