British singer Ed Sheeran announced during his concert in Ipswich England that he would be going on a hiatus after two years of touring.
The singer’s Divide tour was attended by over nine million people and the Ipswich show was his 260th and final show. He announced to the excited audience that he would be taking a break for a total of 18 months which is a year and a half.
This hiatus, of course, comes two weeks prior the “perfect” singer’s court hearing over accusations that he ripped off Marvin Gaye’s classic hit ‘Let’s get it on’ on his 2014 hit ‘Thinking out loud’. If the popular red-head is found guilty he would be sued for 100 million dollars.
In addition, the pop star has been blocked from receiving royalties from his hit song Shape of You because of accusations of appropriation from fellow musician Sam Chokry.
Hopefully, the singer-songwriter is found not guilty and gets to truly enjoy his much-needed break. The singer has decided to spend this break with his wife Cherry Seaborn.
