Hezbollah Leader vows retaliation over Israeli Attack in Lebanon, Beirut

A day after an Israeli drone struck a militant group in southern Beirut and another region close by, Israeli drones bombed a base in eastern Lebanon further raising tensions between the Hezbollah movement and the Jewish State.

According to the Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, the action can be likened to a declaration of war, he further disclosed that this gives them the right to defend their independence and safety of their lands.

The Hezbollah leader has vowed o shoot any Israeli drones that venture into the Lebanese airspace.

The Israeli army has however disclosed that the strikes against the drones foiled an attack by the Shiite militia and Iran against north Israel and that the buildings targeted housed Hezbollah members of which two died due to the attack.

Tensions between Israel and Iran have increasingly increased over the past weeks. Netanyahu in an interview accused Iran of trying to establish bases in strategic places against Israel.
