The Small Scale Women Farmers of Nigeria SWOFON has tasked the Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA to focus more on alleviating the plight of women farmers in the FCT.
SWOFON via its budget committee spoke to newsmen in Abuja calling for more transparency and support from the FCTA agriculture secretariat and also urged them to consider the peculiarities of women farmers so as to devise better strategies aimed at supporting them.
SWOFON says it has reviewed the two thousand and nineteen FCTA agriculture budget and thinks its implementation can improve local food production
