Brexit: EU considers Legal action against the UK over Breach of Contract

After measuring the possible impact of a No-Deal Brexit, the newly elected British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has begun to resume talks on the possibility of a new deal with the European Union.

Yesterday, Johnson was able to make a headway with Angela Merkel, the German Councillor where a possible path of progress was charted between the two luckily for him. Merkel offered Boris Johnson 30 days to come with alternatives for the Irish border backstop. A situation Boris Johnson would prefer didn’t exist, to begin with.

He should be meeting with Macron today to tender his proposition, however, right before the meeting, French President Emmanuel Macron had disclosed that plans to renegotiate the deal was not an option and the United Kingdom risked being subordinated if indeed it crashed out of the EU block without a Deal.

With the current state of affairs, all hands are crossed to see if Boris Johnson will be able to meet his deadline of October 31 to exit the EU with or without a deal according to the Prime Minister.
