Corpse of three slain IRT operatives suspected to have been shot at close range in Taraba state by personnel of the Nigerian Army have arrived Abuja, the nation’s federal capital.
About five corpses in total were taken to the Garki general hospital at about one-thirty am on Sunday morning and deposited at the morgue, three belonging to the slain IRT operatives, one belonging to a civilian on the scene and the fifth corpse, his details yet to be released by the Police
The incidence which has sparked nationwide controversy has brought harsh criticism against the Army especially over claims that a notorious kidnap kingpin arrested by the elite police unit was released.
