The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has approved five regulatory frameworks aimed at transforming Nigeria’s Information Communication and Technology sector
The instruments which include;
The Nigerian Content Development in Information and Communications Technology,
The Nigeria electronic-Government Inter-operability Framework,
The Nigeria ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Vision,
The Nigeria Cloud Computing Policy and
The Nigeria Framework and Guidelines for ICT adoption in tertiary institutions.
The Director-General of NITDA Dr Isa Pantami says the new regulations will create hundreds of thousands of jobs, grow the nation’s economy, support youth entrepreneurship including local production and manufacturing.
