The Office of the Somalian President disclosed earlier today that the Somalian President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has officially denounced his citizenship from the United States.
The reason for his actual denouncement has not been stated clearly especially since it is allowed to have dual citizenship, however, the President has relinquished his citizenship officially yesterday.
The statement disclosed that it was part of the required legal immigration process initially initiated after the President took office.
The president was not the only top official to own dual citizenship as other politicians have dual nationality status because of the civil war.
