The rising incidents of suicide among Nigerian youths especially in university campuses has become of great concern to the authorities and parents.
The University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN and some Non-Governmental Organizations on Thursday held a suicide prevention and awareness campaign at the Nsukka campus of the institution.
In recent times, incidents of suicide by Nigerian youths have been on the rise with the UNN being the worse hit.
Within the months of May and June 2019, no fewer than three students of the institution reportedly took their own lives, prompting public concerns.
For the students, the suicide prevention awareness campaign messages are already dropping off on the university community.
