British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson returns to Downing Street after stint with COVID-19

Without Much Ado, Boris Johnson selected and gave appointments to Individuals he believes will help him achieve his October 31 Brexit deadline after the mass sack of the existing cabinet members on his first day.

Sajid Javid will replace Phillip Hammond as the finance Minister after Phillip earlier disclosed he would resign should Boris Johnson emerge the winner.

Priti Patel will take Sajid Javid’s former role as the Interior Minister.

Jeremy Hunt was also relinquished of his position as the Foreign Minister, glad to do so according to his tweet on his profile and will be replaced by Dominic Raab

Stephen Barclay will retain his position as the Brexit Minister and was not affected by the cabinet reshuffle

Michael Gove was selected to replace Davis Lidington as the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster

Penny Mordaunt who was recently elected after Gavin Williamson was fired due to some leaked top profile information will now be replaced by Ben Wallace as the Defence Minister – in a twist of events, Gavin Williamson was appointed as the Education Minister to replace Damian Hinds.

As for the Trade Ministerial position, Liz Truss replaces Liam Fox while Matt Hancock retains his position as Health Minister, while Rishi Sunak will take up her former position as Chief Secretary to the Treasury.

To take over from Jeremy Wright, the Culture Minister is Nicky Morgan, while Andrea Leadsom will be replacing Greg Clark as the Business Minister.

Theresa Villiers will be replacing Michael Gove as the Environmental Minister, Robert Jenrick to take over from James Brokenshire.

Amber Rudd, Alun Cairns, Geoffery Cox, Natalie Evans will all retain their positions as Work and Pensions Minister, Wales Minister, Attorney General and the Leader of the House of Lords respectively.

Alok Sharma will replace Rory Stewart as the International Development Minister, Grant Shapps will replace Chris Grayling, Julian Smith will replace Karen Bradley as the North Ireland Minister while Alister Jack will replace David Mundell as the Scotland Minister.

Jacob Rees-Mogg will take over from Mel Stride as the Leader of the House of Commons!

Ester McVey will take over from Kit Malthouse as Minister of State, Brandon Lewis will replace Caroline Nokes as Minister of State (home) attending Cabinet.

Jo Johnson will take over from Chris Skidmore as Minister of State (Business) attending cabinet and finally, Oliver Dowden will be replacing Jesse Norman as the Paymaster General.

With the Cabinet fully reshuffled and the clock ticks down to October 31, let us hope that Boris Johnson will indeed be able to deliver a Brexit that works for the whole United Kingdom as Theresa May stated during her handover to her successor!
