A newly elected Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme has resumed in Abuja following the prolonged crisis which has affected the performance of the scheme, leading to loss of public confidence.
The new Executive Secretary Professor Mohammed Sambo promised to rebrand the NHIS ensuring transparency, improving service delivery and transforming the scheme to a result driven organization
Professor Sambo also promised to ensure the scheme is more transparent and accountable to enable it achieve universal health coverage for all Nigerians.
