Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has led some protesters to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) camp ground along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Fellow musicians, Baba Fryo and Felix Duke also joined the protest on Monday, July 8.
According to the protesters, their aim was to make the general overseer of the church, Enoch Adeboye speak up on the RUGA settlement project proposed by the Federal Government.
Abdulkareem, in a video shared on Instagram said “I’m here with Baba Fryo, I’m here with Felix Duke and we are here to say ‘Baba speak up’. You have talked about COZA, now; we want you to talk about RUGA,”

Recall that Adeboye recently spoke on the rape allegations leveled against the pastor and general overseer of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Biodun Fatoyinbo.

“We are here to see Baba Adeboye, who is our father. We love him so much and we want him to speak and he must speak. It is very important for him to speak.”

Speaking on insecurity, they questioned Adeboye for maintaining silence on Leah Sharibu’s captivity with Boko Haram, while also accusing him of defending vice president, Yemi Osinbajo for his inability to secure Sharibu’s release.
The group called on the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to suspend Adeboye for what they described as his complicity on the matter.
