Known as one of the richest people in the world, Warren Buffett has recently donated his Berkshire Hathaway Inc. stock to 5 different foundations including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
This will bring the total of his donations since making the pledge to $34 billion since 2006.
The Berkshire Hathaway company now worth over half a trillion was one of Warren Buffett’s wealth progenitors. He spent close to 5 decades making sure the company evolved into what it is now which in turn made him one of the world’s richest.
The donations were made into the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Sherwood Foundation, Howard G. Buffett Foundation and NoVo Foundation and the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, belonging to his late wife.
