In what would seem like the first expression of violence after weeks of a peaceful protest by Hong Kong residents, the demonstrators have broken through the Legislative Council building through a glass causing a ruckus and a standoff with the police.

The protests began when the Hong Kong Leader, Carrie Lam attempted to extradite Hong Kong criminal persecutions to Mainland China, a feat which she has now suspended indefinitely, which was greatly opposed and had as many as 1 million hitting the streets to show their disapproval.

The protest took on a new turn with many protesters now demanding Carrie Lam steps down to take responsibility of the way many protesters were treated during the protests, while others are asking for the Bill to be abolished altogether instead of suspending it.
