U.S Special Counsel, Robert Mueller will testify in an open session before the House of Representatives Judiciary and Intelligence Committee on July 17 according to Jerrold Nadler the Chairman of the judiciary panel.
Mueller will be testifying concerning the report involving the meddling of the 2016 presidential election, he had earlier released a 448 report in April on the possibilities of Russia’s and Trump’s Meddling in the elections.
The report, however, did not provide substantial evidence to prove a conspiracy between the campaign and Moscow at the time. The report was partially redacted at the time also concluded that there was no obstruction or collusion, a finding that President Trump of the United States had described as a witch hunt and therefore was more than happy to share the findings thereof.
Mueller also disclosed that despite not finding any particular evidence against President Donald Trump, they were not able to categorically prove Trump’s innocence.
