Xenophobic Attacks: Ghanaian Authorities Assure Nigerians In Diaspora Commission Of Protection

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has urged Nigerians living in Ghana to obey the laws of their states of residence and shun criminal acts.

The Chairman of the Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, during a visit to the Ghanaian High Commission in Abuja to protest the Xenophobic attack on Nigerians businesses and business owners in Kumasi Ghana, received assurances that perpetrators of the act have been arrested

The Ghanaian Ambassador to Nigeria, Rasheed Bawa, described the incidence as regrettable saying the youths responsible for the act have all been arrested

Bawa assured that the government of Ghana will do all to protect Nigerians living in the country
