Gunman opens fire on wedding guests in Kano

While a wedding ceremony was ongoing in Kano on Wednesday, an unidentified gunman opened fire on the guests.

Of course, there was a commotion and the wedding ceremony was disrupted.

The victims were immediately rushed to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital for medical attention, following the multiple injuries sustained from the gunshots.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the tragic incident with a promise of having a detailed press meet later on it.

Meanwhile, one of the victims, Malam Mohammed Abdullahi, told press men thus:

“I have never witnessed this kind of madness in my life for someone to just open fire on innocent youths, without any just cause,”
