The Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Mr Charles Akpuenika disclosed on Tuesday that non-indigene syndrome has now ceased to exist in the state due to Gov. DavidUmahi’s all-inclusive policies.

To boot, The Governor appointed over 40 non-indigenes into State governance during his first tenure in office without regard for their state of origins.

A very rare feat in Nigeria where tribalism is very highly practised. The Commissioner lauded the Governor and encouraged other Governors to do likewise to foster Unity among Nigerians.
