The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Fathers Day while speaking to the State House Correspondents said that the older generation of men needs to teach the younger generation to honour women not only their wives but women in general.
The V.P accompanied by his mother, Mrs Olubisi Osinbajo, Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege and others shared that the majority of the responsibility lies on fathers to teach their children that women are not subordinate but were created equal to men.
He also shared that fathering a child isn’t what makes a man a father, but the ability to raise one, the courage it takes to bring one up. Also, Father’s Day is a constant reminder of the huge responsibility that fathers play in society.
