Dagunro: Nollywood mourns late movie star

Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun and other movie stars, have mourned the passing of Yoruba actor, Fasasi Olabankewin, popularly known as Dagunro.

News of Dagunro’s death was confirmed by actor, Adekola Tijani, in an Instagram post on Thursday.

Saidi Balogun, 52, mourned the passing of the actor in a post on Instagram.

“So sad !Good Night Dagunro.May your soul rest in perfect peace Dagunro Alakigaja ogun Ebora tin je latopa;omo won losogbo oroki asala,” he wrote.

Dagunro was known for his roles in epic Yoruba movies.

He starred in movies such as Iboji (2008), Akoni Méfà  and Omo Inu Oku.
