2019 UTME: JAMB to decide cut-off marks for admission on Tuesday

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB will hold a policy meeting with universities and other tertiary institutions across the country on Tuesday to decide the cut-off marks for admission into tertiary institutions for the 2019/2020 academic session.

JAMB, which disclosed this in its weekly bulletin on Sunday, noted that the policy meeting would take place in Gbongan, Osun State, and would be chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education.

The board noted that the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination’s candidates must not believe fake cut-off marks being peddled by fraudsters, as the official cut-off marks would be made public at the end of the meeting.

JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, warned “gullible and desperate candidates to be wary of criminal elements who are on the prowl to defraud them.”
