Inter Milan have officially confirmed parting ways with coach Luciano Spalleti, thereby paving the way for the imminent signing of Antonio Conte as the Nerazzurri’s new coach.
A deal between Antonio Conte and Inter Milan was reportedly agreed over a month ago, with the duration of the agreed deal said to be three years.
Luciano Spalleti, who was appointed in 2017, led Inter Milan to two successive Champions League football and had two years left on his contract.
Antonio Conte is expected to sign a three-year contract with Inter Milan this week as well as hold a meeting with club president, Steven Zhang and CEO Beppe Marotta during the Champions League final in Madrid.
The Italian coach is expected to bring along with him, striker Romelu Lukaku and his former player, Victor Moses.
