A man in Zimbabwe whose name has been withheld to protect his eleven-year-old step daughter’s image has been sentenced to 24 years in prison for raping his stepdaughter.
The man from the Jotsholo, Lupane District allegedly turned his step-daughter into a sex slave in the absence of her mother and threatened to assault her if word ever got out.
In an interesting twist of events, the little girl shared her ordeal with her cousin who found her locked in a hut.
He has currently been charged with 2-counts of rape at the Hwange magistrate Collet Ncube, a jail term of 12 years each.
The girl was examined at St. Luke’s Hospital after a report of rape was filed.
