The All Progressives Congress has called an emergency meeting of its National Working Committee to discuss the Supreme Court judgement on the contentious Zamfara State elections in Abuja on Monday.
According to sources, the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, would preside over the meeting.
However, it is not clear if the party would sanction some of its members whose actions cost the APC what a national officer of the party described as a “monumental loss”.
National Publicity Secretary of the party, Lanre Issa-Onilu, who confirmed Monday’s meeting, declined comments on the likely punishments for the members who worked against their party in Zamfara.
He, however, said the party would make its stand known on the supreme court ruling after the meeting.
