Former Nissan Chairman, Ghosn begins Trial to prove his Innocence

The former Chairman and Chief Executive of Nissan, was in court yesterday to begin Pre-trial hearing at the Tokyo District Court.

The charges include but are not limited to falsifying financial records, under-reporting of compensation between and 2010 – 2017, aggravated breach of trust involving a transfer of funds into his family-owned company.

Back on Carlos Ghosn’s arrest

Carlos Ghosn had before his arrest released a video relaying his innocence and how the entire procedure was a plot of conspiracy against him.

Ghosn has indicated he hopes for a fair trial so he can be fully vindicated and has spent a total of 130 days in Jail.
