The President of the ECOWAS commission Jean-Claude Kassi Brou has tasked Nigeria to embrace space science and technology in an effort to help the subregion close the gap between developing countries and developed economies.
Mr Kassi-Brou while paying a visit to the National Space Research and Development Agency NASRDA in Abuja, to discuss modalities for a proposed joint satellite launch for ECOWAS member states, says space science and research is the future of the continent and can help the subregion tackle challenges of poverty and underdevelopment
