It has been over a year since American comedian and actress, Tiffany Haddish and her ex-husband William Stewart have been at legal war with each other over various charges made by both spouses.
It began when Haddish’s released her memoir titled ‘The Last Black Unicorn’, dedicating anonymously a chapter about an ex-husband, which profiled him as abusive with stalker tendencies during the 5-year period they had been married.
Stewart responded to the subliminal message and sued her for slander and defamation including $1 million in damages.
She denied his request, forcing Stewart to go to court maintaining his innocence. A trial date has been set for April 20th, 2020 in Texas.
