NBA legends, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird will be honored for their contributions to the game with the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Magic Johnson played for the Los Angeles Lakers and was part of the famed Showtime Lakers that won five NBA championships in the 1980s while Larry Bird played for Boston Celtics, helping them to three NBA championships.
Both men are set to be the third recipient of the NBA Lifetime Achievement Award, with Bill Russell being the first winner in 2017 and Oscar Robertson getting the honour last year.
Magic Johnson and Larry Bird will receive the award during the NBA Awards scheduled for the 24th of June.
